Finding the right home on a tight budget is a difficult process. When it comes to detached homes in Brampton, you’ll rarely find anything under $1 million. It’s a growing city with rapid developments but considerably more affordable than Mississauga or Toronto. You can find detached houses under $1 million in neighbourhoods like Queen Street South and Gage Park. They are close to amenities, public transit, and surrounded by parks and trails.
I’ve listed some of my favourite detached properties on sale in Brampton this week
1. 5 Fleming – $749,000
A first-time home buyer’s paradise, 5 Fleming is a 2 bed, 3 bath detached home in Brampton with a finished basement. The property has laminate flooring throughout and has been renovated top to bottom. The kitchen has an island, quartz countertop, and a simple but aesthetic backsplash. It has a front porch and backyard concrete patio perfect to enjoy your morning coffee.
2. 28 Royce – $839,999
Located on a rare 40 x 150 feet lot, 28 Royce is located in Downtown Brampton. It has an open concept main floor with a renovated kitchen and spacious living and dining room. All 3 bedrooms are on the second floor and covered in laminate. You’ll also get a partially-finished basement that you can turn into a home gym or office. And the backyard is beyond perfect and lined with mature trees for maximum privacy.
3. 58 Elliott Street – $849,000
Located right across Memorial Park, this old but well-maintained detached property has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has a completely finished basement with a separate entrance that you can rent out and use to pay a part of your mortgage. The house has 2 large bedrooms on the second floor and 1 bedroom on the main floor. You also get a front yard and backyard, which is big and spacious, perfect for hosting summer barbecue parties.
4. 120 Mill Street – $889,000
Straight out of a magical dream, this detached property in Downtown Brampton ticks off every box of a first-time home buyer’s checklist. Spread across 3 beds and 2 bathrooms, 120 Mill Street has three stories and a massive loft that can be converted into a bedroom, home office, or kids play area. The living room opens into a patio, which then leads to the backyard. The front lawn has a couple mature trees for added privacy on a busy street.
5. 31 Vodden Street – $899,000
One of my favourites on the list, 31 Vodden Street has three good-sized bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bedrooms along with a kitchen and living room in the basement. It has a private entrance, so you can rent it out and pay part of your mortgage. The main floor’s kitchen and bathroom was recently upgraded as well. It has a decently-sized backyard with a shed for extra storage. The property also has a one-car garage and additional space for two more cars.
